The seventh Asia Pacific Ecotourism Conference (APECO) will be held in Penang this November. The event is an opportunity for those in the eco-tourism industry to come together to network and share their knowledge and experience on ecotourism, conservation, community based projects and eco-accommodation. The theme for APECO 2012 is “Back to Mother Nature” and would cover aspects such as challenges in ecotourism, trends in Asia Pacific region, maintaining eco-tourism facilities and running community based ecotourism projects.
The Guest of Honour of APECO 2012 is YAB Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Chief Minister of Penang who will also deliver the Keynote Address “Back to Mother Nature”.
