Save Our Rainforest Race 2014 (SORR 2014)

PEKA Malaysia will be organizing their annual event Save Our Rainforest Race 2014 at Hutan Simpan Sg. Besi on 29th March 2014. The 10km race is aimed to create awareness on the importance of conserving our rainforest and is symbolic to racing against time. Earth Hour 2014 - Lights Out for Malaysia at 8:30PM

World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) will conduct its annual Earth Hour initiative on the 29th March 2014 at 8:30PM (+8 GMT) globally. The initiative aims to raise awareness on climate change by switching off the lights for one hour. The initiative also acts as a platform to encourage the global community to share opportunities and challenges of creating a sustainable world.

Earth Hour Celebrations in Penang - The Earth Hour Night Walk 2014 will take place between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm on 29th March 2014 at Jalan Padang Kota Lama, Penang. All Malaysian are invited to turn out their lights for one hour to show their support for environmentally sustainable action.
