Madagascar’s Carbon Credit Sold to Microsoft to Help Conservation Efforts

The sales of carbon credit will help support biodiversity conservation efforts in Makira Natural Park. Microsoft claimed that apart from contributing to carbon offsets, the project may help to protect biodiversity value of the Makira Natural Park that has been threatened by illegal anthropogenic activities.
