Briefing on 2013 Feed-In Tariff Application Administration Guidelines

SEDA Malaysia has introduced e-Fit, an online system to process the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) applications to ensure good governance, transparency and openness of the feed-in tariff mechanism. The use of e-FiT is provided for under Section 5 (3) of the Renewable Energy Act 2011 and the Renewable Energy (Feed-in Approval and Feed-in Tariff Rates) Rules 2011. SEDA Malaysia is committed in developing a robust and user-friendly system to facilitate the FiT application process, hence the enhancement of the e-fit online system to better serve the Renewable Energy Industry. In line with this, SEDA Malaysia is organising a briefing on the proposed administration guidelines to the Feed-in Tariff application with the details as below:

Seminar on Green IT

ASM Fellows’ Lecture: ‘Challenges for Malaysian Botany’

This lecture will be presented by Datuk Seri Lim Chong Keat FASc and is organised by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia. The speaker will present an overview of the current state of botanical knowledge, and share his experiences in botanical fieldwork in Malaysia. He will also highlight his ideas for a fresh approach to Malaysian botany and more effective conservation monitoring.

Workshop on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

This FREE workshop is aimed at creating better awareness and understanding on renewable energy and energy efficiency. Its goal is to also educate the public on how they could save energy, save money and even make money. Iskandar Malaysia Green City Seminar & Exhibition 2013

18th -19th January 2013

This event will be held at Danga Bay Convention Centre, Johor Bahru and is organised by the Malaysian Green Building Confederation (MGBC). It focuses on topics relating to low carbon cities and issues in green construction.
